Anax, the king dragonfly floats slenderly and majestically above her empire, always keeping her environment in focus. Similar to the Anax lamp. Thanks to a unique suspension, it remains weightless in space like its name cousin and illuminates its surroundings. It is both a light source and a shape of light, making lighting a key element of architecture and a theme for the eyes.
The Anax luminaire, which won the international reddot design award in 2008, is Liin's design classic, the product with which everything began. Anax turns light into a way of life and aesthetics into an experience. The luminaire is available in several colours and three lengths (1020 mm / 1350 mm / 1680 mm).
Noble, robust and timeless
In addition to the beautiful appearance and the selected technology, Anax convinces above all through external values.
Here, light metal is brought into shape without falling out of shape. The resulting aluminium body made of extruded profiles is given an extremely dense and hard oxide layer. A procedure that protects the body from external influences and at the same time preserves the character of the aluminium.
Whether Anax shines in a glossy brilliant look or presents itself discreetly in a matt satin look, surfaces and colour variations underline the timeless design of the luminaire: classic, elegant and stylish, Anax floats in arctic silver, raven grey, jungle brown and inka gold. Colours that are not subject to any fashion trends and emphasise the clear lines of the design and the high quality of the material in modern as well as classic surroundings.
Completely detached
Float instead of hang, weightlessness instead of gravity: Anax stands for the lightness of appearance. Thanks to a cable specially developed for Liin that combines power supply, suspension and pendant luminaire, Anax's unique presence in the room is preserved in style.
With a reduced design, the suspension ensures that the spotlight always belongs to Anax, that the luminaire is the focus of attention. The ceiling end picks up on the surface, shines with an identical look and is thus the end and starting point of a harmonious overall concept.
Anax's technical trick is perfectly rounded off by extremely simple installation by snapping the base plate and cover into place and by dispensing with visible screws.

Innovative quality
Anax uses LEDs with 3000 Kelvin. On the underside of the pendant luminaire there is a capacitive sensor in the middle. By touching the sensor the dimming starts. By letting go, the brightness reached remains adjusted. The dimming takes place between 10 and 100 percent of the brightness.
By releasing and touching it again, the dimming changes direction. With the brightest and darkest settings, the dimming stops for three seconds to make it easier to set the minimum and maximum brightness.
Anax is available in two different dimmer versions with integrated "touch dimmer" or wall dimmer.
All built-in LEDs have a CRI of 92, which ensures particularly good colour rendering.
